Production  Inter

This exciting position offers the selected individual the opportunity to learn about and contribute to producing various live experiences within C3’s festival portfolio such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Austin and many more. The Production Intern works as part of the Production Department, with a focus on Crowd Services. Crowd Services is responsible for the Accessibility, Community Outreach, Greening, and Guest Services programs of the festival. 
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with Crowd Services event staff advance, scheduling assignments, communication, training, and payroll administration and if assigned to work on site at an event; event staff check-in, breaks, hospitality, and check-out. 
  • Overseeing daily set-up, operation, and breakdown of festival information booths and services in cooperation with information center leads, if assigned to work on site at an event. 
  • Assisting with implementation of lost & found program. Managing post-event found item pick up operation if assigned to work on site following an event. Matching and reuniting guests with found items for up to 30 days following an event. Managing correspondence and responding to inquiries sent to C3 festivals’ various lost & found e-mail accounts. Responsibly donating or disposing of unclaimed items. 
  • Monitoring the Crowd Services inventory of supplies. Ordering and tracking the replenishment of supplies as directed. 
  • Acting as the Crowd Services bike program point of contact, ensuring that a variety of eco-friendly transportation services are made available to both staff and guests. 
  • Researching various Guest Services programs and initiatives across the festival and event industries and contributing ideas for possible future program content inclusion. 
  • Assist with coordinating the needs of the festival’s Production department. 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements: Qualifications: 
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's/Masters program at an accredited college or university 
  • Must be 18 years or older and have sophomore standing or above 
  • Commit to a minimum of 20 hours or 3 days per week on a part-time basis 
  • Able to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment
